It's been a long time coming, but Ian's new CD should be ready by late July 2008. It will be a compilation of acoustic blues numbers, similar to Out Of The Blue, his successful CD of 2001. At this time there are tracks by Lonnie Johnson, Bo Carter, Robert Johnson (of course) and one or two self penned numbers. The CD is being recorded at Puriri Grove Studios in Whangarei, New Zealand and will be mixed at the same studios and mastered in the USA. Like Out Of The Blue, tracks will be just Ian and his guitar, with the occassional overddubbed secnd guitar. Instruments used on this CD are Ian's John Hullah six string and a National Style N resonator guitar.
